‘Fine tune’ is an expandable/collapsible section, featured at the bottom of the display area; it is available when the Milling diagram or the Heatmap is being displayed.

The Fine Tune section contains a set of parameters that fall into one of two categories:
Inputs - the parameters with which the Machinist will most commonly interact.
Outputs - these parameters are more a source of information and are concerned with the affects of the machining operation.
All of the Fine tune parameters are defined with the Glossary of Terms.

Each parameter is fine tuned via a slider, which could have any of the features shown in the following diagram:
The following table details each of the slider’s features.

Double-click In addition, the value can be changed directly be double-clicking the value and amend it to one within the lower and upper constraints manually entering a new one. |
3 | Upper constraint adjuster | The uppermost value for the parameter. | Click and drag the value to the left or right. |
4 | Reset constraints | Resets the upper and lower constrains to their default values. | Click to reset. |
5 | Lock value | Locks/Unlocks the parameters values. | Click to switch between lock and unlock. |
