On clicking the ‘Display Milling diagram’ option (see Cutting Parameters Layout. #4), the Milling diagram is displayed, as shown in the following screenshot.

The milling diagram contains the recommended cutsvalues for cutting parameters, as shown in the following diagram.

Quality Control sliders

Provides the following choices for tool control:

  • Coarse (1 slider) - enables you to specify a value in a range that tends to an ‘Increased tool life’ or an ‘Increased productivity’.

  • Fine (2 sliders) - enables you to specify an additional value in a range that tends to an ‘Increased risk of rubbing’ or an ‘Increased risk of chipping the tool’.
