The machine name is the one you originally selected for Choose Machine machine in CAM Assist (see below) that was used to generate the toolpath strategy shown in the Fusion Browser.

Note

The machine’s name machine cannot be changed within the Cutting Parameters add-on but its properties can (see below).

Machine properties

The properties of the chosen machine have one of two possible sources:

  • Original CAM Assist ‘Machine Properties- the properties that were used to generate the toolpath strategy shown in the Fusion Browser (see screenshot to the right).

  • The properties changed in

    On clicking the

    The Machine pop-up contains the same machine properties that are available within CAM Assist. The unit of measurement used in the pop-up can be changed via the ‘Session Settings’ cogwheel (see Cutting Parameters Layout- Features and Functionality (#10)).

    Within the Machine pop-up, take the following steps:

    1. Change the property value using either/both of the following methods:

      1. Enter a value directly into the textbox.

      2. Use the up-down control to increase-decrease the value by 1.

    2. Click on any of the tabs (do not click Close)the image-20240610-125355.pngImage Added button in the top-right of the pop-up.

      • The new machine property values are automatically saved.

      • The Machine pop-up closes.

    Note

    The up-down button increments/decrements by integers, so if the button is used, it will remove any decimal accuracy for the value being changed.
