Before you can see Cutting Parameters ' recommendations, you must first use CAM Assist to compute a toolpath strategy (see Getting Started with CAM Assist).

After CAM Assist had been used to compute a toolpath strategy for a part, the Fusion Browser is populated with the operations and tools that form that strategy, as shown in the following screenshot.

Once CAM Assist has completed the toolpath strategy computation, Cutting Parameters can be opened to amend the parameters of the cutting tool used for individual operations within that strategy.

provides recommendations for a tool associated with an operation selected from the Fusion Browser.
Therefore, before you can see/adjust the recommendations, the Fusion Browser must first have been populated with a toolpath strategy that was created by CAM Assist for a selected part.

How to open Cutting Parameters

To open Cutting Parameters, take the following steps:

  1. Create a CloudNC CAM Assist toolpath strategy (see Getting Started with CAM Assist).

  2. Open the Fusion Browser - it contains the toolpath strategy from step 1.

Within the Fusion Browser:

  1. Open a ‘Setup’ Setup folder.

  2. Expand the ‘CAM Assist’ CAM Assist folder.

  3. Select one of the operation folders.

Within the selected operation folder:

  1. Right-click an operation toolpath - a pop-up menu is displayed
