Cutting Parameters provides a set of heatmaps that use color to indicate the ideal range for the selected toolThe heatmaps use a series of color-coded ranges to show the tool’s current configuration, based on the value of the relevant cutting parameter(s).
To display the Heatmaps, click the icon on the right in the display switch (shown to the right).

Layout
The following table details the features of the Heatmaps display (as annotated in the image to the right).

Quality Control sliders
Provides the following choices for tool control:
Coarse (1 slider) - enables you to specify a value in a range that tends to an ‘Increased tool life’ or an ‘Increased productivity’.
Fine (2 sliders) - enables you to specify an additional value in a range that tends to an ‘Increased risk of rubbing’ or an ‘Increased risk of chipping the tool’.

Heatmap selection
The Heatmaps drop-down contains a series of additional heatmaps that you can display at the same time in the Display Area.
You can select as many heatmaps as necessary.
To select a heatmap:
Click on the drop-down arrow
Check the checkbox to the left of the heatmap's name.
It will immediately appear in the Display Area.
Dynamic Adjustments
All displayed heatmaps are dynamically updated by changes to any of the following inputs:
