CAM Assist is a Fusion 360 add-on. Fusion 360 must be closed before updating CAM Assist.
In order to update, there is no need to uninstall your currently installed version of CAM Assist.
This guide takes you through the process of downloading and installing the latest version of CloudNC’s CAM Assist add-on for Fusion 360.

The following steps are shown in the above video.
Downloading the installation file
Under the heading ‘CAM Assist (Windows)’, click on the installation setup link to download the file.
The installation setup is named something like ‘CloudNC CAM Assist v1.8.0.exe'
Here, the numbers following ‘v' are the version number of the latest release of CAM Assist.
Open the ‘Downloads’ folder in Windows Explorer.
Running the installation
Run the installation setup (double-click the file) that was just downloaded.
The first part of the installation setup is the ‘Welcome’ page.
Click ‘Next’.
The next page holds the License Agreement (or Terms of Use Agreement).
Fully read the Terms of Use Agreement.
Click ‘Agree’ to agree with the terms and continue the installation.
Click ‘Cancel’ if you do not agree or if you have questions you would like to get answered before continuing (please contact CloudNC Support).
When the installation has completed, a summary page is displayed.
Ensure the checkbox for ‘Run Autodesk Fusion 360’ is checked.
Click ‘Finish’.
Fusion 360 is opened automatically.
Congratulations, the CAM Assist add-on to Fusion 360 is now installed!
Locating CAM Assist
Within Fusion 360, go to the ‘Manufacture’ workspace
The CAM Assist panel is shown in the righthand edge of the Manufacture ‘Milling’ ribbon.
Click on the big icon in the panel to open CAM Assist.
