Step 3 - CAM Assist Ribbon

This page contains Step 3 of the ‘Getting Started with CAM Assist' tutorial. This step introduces the CAM Assist ribbon which is displayed on opening the ‘CAM Assist’ menu.
You first saw the CAM Assist ribbon in Step 2 - Opening a Part, where it contained just the ‘Open a Demo Part’ option.
On selecting a part, the CAM Assist ribbon expands to include six options in one ‘CAM Assist’ group, as shown in the following screenshot.
With a part selected, the expanded CAM Assist ribbon is available from the ‘CAM Assist’ menu.
The CAM Assist ribbon features the following options:
CloudNC CAM Assist - opens the CAM Assist add-on.
My Account:
Displays your subscription and account details.
You can set your network proxy URL here.
Documentation - opens this User Guide.
Feedback and Support - opens the CloudNC Product Support page.
Open a Demo Part - provides access to the ‘Demo parts’ detailed in Step 2 - Opening a Part.
If you select a Demo part from here, Siemens NX will open it in a new tab.
About - opens the ‘About' panel’ that contains information, such as version number, Terms and Conditions, and useful resources.
