Page Comparison

The user interface of CAM Assist is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly. It features eight tabs (as shown in the screenshot to the right):

• Setup

  Essential

  - essential ‘setup’ information that must be completed:

• Machine

  Configure

  - configure and manage CNC machine properties.

• Tools

  Select

  - select and manage the tool library, including built-in and session tools.

• Tool Usages

  • Review tools in the selected tool library.

  • Adjust how each tool is intended/allowed to be used by CAM Assist and for which types of materials.

• Operations - included in the machining process, with options to modify sub-settings:

  • Toolpath Types

  • Geometry

  • Roughing

  • Finishing

Each of these tabs is detailed in the following sub-sections.
