2 | Input tabs | Across the top of Cutting Parameters are five ‘input tabs’ that display the inputs that Cutting Parameters uses to make recommendations. When Cutting Parameters is first opened, the inputs are populated by the choices already made in CAM Assist (the ones used to compute the toolpath strategy). For more details, see Input Tabs. | ||
3 | Display Area | Contains either the 2D Milling diagram (see #4) or the Heatmap (see #5). | ||
4 | ‘2D Milling diagram’ option | Displays the 2D Milling diagram in the Display Area. For details, see 2D Milling Diagram. | ||

6 | Report a bad recommendation | Opens the ‘Report a bad recommendation’ form that, once completed, is sent to the Product Support team. | ||

8 | Fine tune | An expandable/collapsible section that contains a set of ‘Fine tune’ sliders that enable you to control the feeds and speeds of the tool used for the selected operation. For more information, see Fine Tune. | ||
9 | Scroll bar | Use the scroll bar to scroll the display area and the ‘Fine tune’ section (if expanded). | ||
10 | Session settings | Displays the ‘Session settings’ pop-up:
