Within the Fusion ‘Manufacture’ workspace:

2. <b>Open the 'Generate Avoidance Geometry' add-on</b> - hover over the ‘Fixture Management’ option of the <a href="https://cloudnc.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CAF3UD/pages/6455333/CAM+Assist+Panel" target="_blank">CAM Assist panel</a> then select 'Generate Avoidance Geometry'. <ul><li>the add-on is displayed (see below).</li></ul> |
Within Generate Avoidance Geometry:
Select the ‘Setup(s)’ - check the required ‘setup' box for any of the setups associated with the part.
Click Generate
Avoidance geometry is generated for each checked ‘Setup'.
The add-on is closed and focus switches back to Fusion.
The avoidance geometry is now available in the Fusion Browser and CloudNC CAM Assist (see CAM Assist for Fusion).

What next?
Once you've created the Avoidance geometry, you may:
Keep the part open and use CAM assist to compute a toolpath strategy.
Save the part and its Avoidance geometry (using Fusion’s ‘save’ features) then open it later and use CAM Assist to compute a toolpath strategy (see CAM Assist for Fusion).
