Layout
The following table details the features of the Heatmaps display (as annotated in the image to the right).

1 | Heatmap | Each displayed heatmap (see Heatmap selection, below) uses a color scale (2) to indicate various ranges for the tool.
A white cross shows the current position of the tool in the heatmap (see Dynamic adjustments, below). | ||
2 | Color scale | The heatmap uses the colors shown in this scale. | ||
3 | Information parameters | These parameters are for information purposes only. The value shown indicates the tool’s current position, based on the inputs, in the given range. | ||
4 | Heatmap list | Cutting Parameters gives you a wide choice of heatmaps that you can display at the same time in the Display Area (for a list of the heatmaps, see Heatmap selection, below). |
Heatmap selection
The Heatmaps drop-down contains a series of additional heatmaps that you can display at the same time in the Display Area.
You can select as many heatmaps as necessary.
To select a heatmap:
Click on the drop-down arrow
Check the checkbox to the left of the heatmap's name.
It will immediately appear in the Display Area.

All displayed heatmaps are dynamically updated by changes to any of the following inputs:
