The 2D Milling diagram has the layout shown in the
screenshot to the right.
The 2D Milling Notice that the diagram has two components:
The left Left image - represents the cutting engagement.
The right Right image - represents the z-place plane view of the machining process.
Parameters
As annotated in the screenshot above, the 2D Milling diagram contains the following recommended parameters:
Depth of cut (Ap)
Spindle speed
Width of cut (Ae)
Chip load
Feed per tooth
Feed rate
Each of these parameters, and more, can be amended in the Fine Tune section.
Dynamic adjustments
The 2D Milling diagram is dynamically updated by changes to any of the following inputs:

Tooltips
Hovering over any measurement displays a tooltip that contains the alternative unit system (to change the unit system, see Cutting Parameters Layout Features and Functionality [#10]).
The screenshot below shows the measurement, in Imperial, next to its tooltip, in Metric.
