Target Setups

The ‘Target setups' section of the General Tab contains an entry for each setup has been created for the selected part.

Layout and features

However, the content of ‘Target setups' is dynamic and depends on the choices you make for the following:

• Machining mode - CAM Assist provides two modes:

  • 3 Axis

  • 3+2 Axis

• Machining direction (displayed when the ‘Machining mode’ is 3+2 Axis) - CAM Assist provides the following options:

  • Aligned to X, Y, Z axes

  • User-defined

  • Automatic

The following screenshots show the initial layouts of the ‘Target setups’ section and when they are used.

The above layout is used for the following: 3 Axis 3+2 Axis (Aligned to X, Y, Z axes)

The above layout is used for the following: 3+2 Axis (User-defined)
