General Tab

The ‘General’ tab contains the following sections that can be collapsed or expanded:

• About CAM Assist - shows the version number of the CloudNC CAM Assist for Fusion add-on suite.

  • The CAM Assist panel has an ‘About’ option that contains additional system information.

• General - contains drop-down boxes that enable the user to specify the machining environment.

  • If a ‘Demo’ part is selected from the CAM Assist panel then the ‘General’ section is automatically populated with relevant selections for that part.

• Target setups - contains an entry for each setup configured within the selected part.

• CloudNC CAM Assist Background Execution - enables you to perform Fusion-related tasks while CAM Assist computes toolpath strategies in the the background.

Tooltips

Tooltips contain useful information on the purpose and use of features within the ‘General' tab. To see a tooltip, just hover over a feature.
