To uninstall CAM Assist, take the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the folder:

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\CloudNC\Siemens NX\Add-ins

  2. In the Add-ins folder (see the image to the right):

    1. Delete the content of the folder: CloudNC CAM Assist.

    2. Delete the folder: CloudNC CAM Assist.

  1. Navigate to the folder:

    • C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX2206\UGII\menus

  2. In the menus folder (see the image to the right):

    • Open the file custom_dir.dat in Notepad.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the file (in Notepad)

  2. Delete the line shown highlighted in the image to the right.

  3. Save custom_dirs.

CAM Assist for Mastercam is now uninstalled.
To reinstall, following the instructions in How to Install CAM Assist.
