Input tab layout

When Cutting Parameters is first opened, the inputs come from the configurations that were used by CAM Assist to compute the toolpath strategy.

Some of the inputs can be changed within Cutting Parameters; this is done via context-specific pop-ups that appear when an ‘input tab’ is clicked.

Each input tab contains the following features:

Description

1

Header

Shows the current input information used by Cutting Parameters.

The source of the ‘input' depends on the tab.

2

Pop-up

On clicking the tab header, a pop-up is displayed that contains parameters that enable to change the cutting parameters configuration.

3

Close

Clicking the button performs the following:

  • Closes the respective tab pop-up.

  • Shows the Display Area that contains either the 2D Milling diagram or the Heatmap, which provide dynamic recommendations based on the inputs.
