CAM Assists presents its features and functionality via a set of three tabs: ‘General’, ‘Tool use’, and ‘Advanced’, as shown in the following screenshot.

This section includes the features and functionality of each of the three tabs:

  • General - enables you to specify which Fusion ‘Tool library’ and ‘Stock material’ is to be used to compute a CAM Assist strategy (see the General tab).

  • Tool Use - contains an alternative to ‘Toolset onboarding’ that provides an at-a-glance summary of the materials and usages (operations) available to tools in the selected toolset (see the Tool Use tab).

  • Advanced - contains advanced configuration options for: Toolpath types, Geometry, Roughing, Finishing, and Deburring (see the Advanced tab).
