After clicking Run, the ‘Export’ tab can be used to export a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file that contains details of the cycle time estimations (see Choose File(s) Tab).

The following table lists details of all the features contained within the ‘Export’ tab, as shown in the screenshot to the right.

1 | Scale Factor | The Scale Factor is used to compensate for discrepancies between the calculated cycle time and the actual machining time. This is necessary due to acceleration and deceleration during actual machining, equipment efficiency, and other factors.

2 | Folder path | Opens the Mastercam ‘Browse for Folder’ dialog where you can specify the path of the folder for the export file. | |||
3 | File name | The name of the export file.

5 | Part file | The name of the part file.2

6 | File selector checkbox | Click the checkbox to the left of the part file to indicate that its cycle time estimation is to be exported.3 | |||
7 | Quantity | The quantity of the associated part that is to be exported (this will multiply the ‘Total’ cycle time’).

8 | Setup Time field | Enter a setup time (in seconds) to compensate for material handling, fixturing and other operations to be accounted for in the estimation. | |||
9 | Estimated time (H:MM:SS) | The estimated cycle time (as shown in the Cycle Time Estimates tab) multiplied by the ‘Quantity'. | |||

On clicking Export Results, a CSV file is exported to the ‘Folder Path’ with the specified ‘File name’.
The exported file can be opened in any suitable application, such as Google Sheets, MS Excel, Google Sheets, or Notepad.

Note that time estimates are provided for individual operations
Differences in the sum of individual operation estimates and the total related toolpath time are due to the movement of the tool between operations and rounding up of the values.
