Known Issues

Following are details of known issues that currently affect CAM Assist or the manner in which CAM Assist interfaces with Siemens NX.

Naming Blanks

There is an issue with using a user-defined name for blanks.

A user-defined name for a blank (that is, anything other then ‘BLANK’) could generate the following error messages when CAM Assist is processing a model’s setup.

“Failed to copy Blank form original to copy Workpiece for setup: WORKPIECE”

“Failed to create the parent copy Workpiece geometry for setup: WORKPIECE”
