After clicking Run, the ‘Cycle Time Estimates’ tab is populated with the results of the estimates for each of the part files in the specified folder (see Choose File(s) Tab).
For an example of how to use the Cycle Time Estimates tab, see Using the Cycle Time Estimator: an Example.
The following table contains details of all the information contained within the ‘Cycle Time Estimates’ tab, as shown in the screenshot to the right.
# | Information | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Part file | The name of the part file. |
2 | Open Document | Clicking the folder icon opens the part in Mastercam, which you can then examine by using using the ‘Toolpaths’ view. |
3 | Part dimensions | The units used for the dimensions are the same as those configured within the part file (mm or inches). |
Faces Machined | The number of faces machine by the computed toolpath strategy compared to the number of faces in the part. | |
4 | Estimated times (H:MM:SS) | The ‘Machine Group’ and ‘Total’ time taken to complete machining for the part ‘Total’ is the sum of all Machine Group times for the part (rounded up to the nearest second). |
These cycle time estimates can be exported to a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file of your choice (see Export tab).
