Custom Materials in CAM Assist for Fusion

Custom Materials are read by CAM Assist from the Presets (Cutting data) of tools in the selected tool library.
Follow the steps below to configure a Custom Material for use with CAM Assist in Fusion.
To Set Up Custom Materials
In the Fusion Tool Library select the library you want to add the Custom Material to, or create a new library.
Select or add the tool which will have the Custom Material applied.
Custom materials are defined by Presets (Cutting data). Either add a new Cutting data, or edit an existing one.
A handy way to add a custom Preset is to duplicate (copy and paste) an existing preset. For instance, copying a tool from one of the demo libraries shipped with CAM Assist can be a quick way to get set up.
For each custom material add/edit the Material name, and include'++.' For example, ‘++Delrin’.
Create/edit cutting data appropriately for each tool and material.
Custom materials are identified by CAM Assist by the ++ prefixes in the Presets. If these are listed in the tool library, they will be listed in CAM Assist.
