Tool Use Tab

The ‘Tool use’ tab contains the following sections:

• General - a collapsible/expandable section that contains drop-down boxes to enable the user to specify the machining environment. Any selections made here will be reflected in the General tab.

  • If a ‘Demo’ part is selected from the CAM Assist panel then the ‘General’ section is automatically populated with relevant selections for that part.

• Tool Use table - provides at-a-glance information of how each tool in the selected ‘Tool library’ is used by CAM Assist.

Tooltips

Tooltips contain useful information on the purpose and use of features within the ‘Tool use' tab. To see a tooltip, just hover over a feature.
