Tool Use Tab

The Tool Use tab is still in beta and is not fully functional.
During this period, the following documentation describes the manner in which the Tool Use tab is intended to function: you may notice missing functionality if you choose to use it.
The Tool Use tab contains the following sections:
General - a collapsible/expandable section that enables you to do the following:
Specify the machining environment ('Tool library' and ‘Stock material’).
Edit the properties of the chosen ‘Machine'.
Control the way that CAM Assist determines and uses the feeds and speeds associated with the selected ‘Tool library’.
Tool Use Table
Check the suitability of the selected ‘Tool library’ for use with CAM Assist.
Control how CAM Assist uses individual tools in the selected ‘Tool library’.

Tooltips
Tooltips contain useful information on the purpose and use of features within the ‘Tool use' tab. To see a tooltip, just hover over a feature.
