Before you can use CloudNC’s Soft Jaw Designer, you must first open a Fusion model that contains at least a part (that model could also contain existing jaws).

How to open the Soft Jaw Designer

To open the Soft Jaw Designer, take the following steps:

Within Fusion:

  1. Open a model that contains at least a part (the model could also contain bodies from which the jaws will be designed).

Within Fusion’s ‘Manufacturer’ workspace:

  1. Open the CAM Assist panel (see the screenshot to the right)

Within the CAM Assist panel:

  1. Hover over the ‘Fixture Management’ option.

  2. Click ‘Soft Jaw Designer’

    • CloudNC’s Soft Jaw Designer opens in Fusion’s ‘Design’ workspace.
